Struggle and Awareness

I struggle to be integrated in the morning.

I want to achieve something. My Guru Sri Nithyananda instructed to wake up at 4 am like a flower, do yoga, pancha kriyas, puja, kirtans, satsang. It will do tremendous good. There are various Hindu traditions and they believe and practice various things, but all agree on this one thing - waking up at Brahma Muhoortam and doing spiritual practices. It will reduce the constant depression and obsessive patterns we carry.

I listen to it multiple times and on one level, I know, yes, I have to do it. But in the morning, when the alarm rings, I go back to my old pattern.

In the heavy commercialized world, we are surrounded with ideas of self-motivation, struggle, push yourself, alarms, music, lights... all kinds of stuff outside us. Not directing awareness to the one thing that is inside us, and already a part of us.

The wholesome, permanent and beautiful  approach is Awareness. No need to struggle. Observe what happens. Mindfulness. Do not judge, criticize.

What is the first thought rising inside when the alarm rings?

Will persistence.

Box is a hoax is Freedom.

Withdraw your energy from the past and past desires. Pratyahaara.
